Education is the ticket to middle class success according to Michael A. MacDowell , President of Misericordia University in Dallas, Pa.  In an article published in Education News, he states that the middle class may be endangered because of technology. The New York times commented that, “Technology is the chief culprit, as innovative software and computers are making thousands of jobs per week obsolete”.  This is not a unique problem to the united States as millions of middle-class jobs have been lost in many developed countries, including Europe and Canada.  Read more
