Using the Writing Prompts app with my students had some surprising results today. I feel obligated to preface these comments by stating that this was a Creative Writing class. These students generally like the process of writing. Of course I teach regular English Classes as well, so this result is not the norm. I told my young writers to take ten minutes to open the app and choose a prompt.
