Try Kobo for Free eBooks!

If you are looking for an e-book source to use in the classroom try Kobo for free ebooks!  This e-book resource has free books in many categories.  Some of the categories include classics, romance, gothic, history, art, biographies, health and well-being, and many more. This is also a great text resource for those of you taking a Praxis Test or if you just want a fantastic resource to use in the classroom.  Imagine having all of your students opening a free copy of  The Time Machine by H.G Wells using  iPad, iPhone, Android, Mac, PC, BlackBerry PlayBook and smart phone, and  Kobo eReader. The Kobo app also provides access to speeches and historical texts.  Most teachers have several different versions of a text going in the classroom at any one time.  Many books that teachers have access to are  missing pages and students will be on different pages as they read their version.  Using the Kobo reading app allows teachers and student to have the same e-book resource – for free!  Readers can use the tools provided to annotate or make comments that other readers can see.
